This antibody reacts with heavy chains on human IgE (epsilon chain)
Purity/Purification
Affinity purified using solid phase Human IgE
Form/Format
1.0mg/ml lyophilized from 10mM Sodium Phospahte, pH7.2 with 150mM Soidum Chloride, with 1% BSA and 0.1% Kathon CG.(use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.). Rehydrate with 1.1 ml og deionized water. Allow reconstituted
Concentration
1.0 mg/ml (varies by lot)
Applicable Applications for IgE secondary antibody
ELISA, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), CL
Application Notes
IHC: 1:200-1:5000
ELISA/WB: 1:500-1:5000
Source Note
Goat serum was obtained from healthy animals of US origin and under the care of a registered veterinarian.
Biological Significance
IgE is the least abundant immunoglobulin in plasma, found at a concentration of less that 0.6 micrograms/ml of normal plasma. Elevated IgE levels are found in patients experiencing severe allergic reactions and parasitic infections. Although IgE is typically the least abundant isotype - blood serum IgE levels in a normal non-atopic individual are only 0.05% of the Ig concentration, compared to 10 mg/ml for the IgGs (the isotypes responsible for most of the classical adaptive immune response) - it is capable of triggering the most powerful immune reactions.
Cross-Reactivity
No reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin human serum proteins or light chains on all human immunoglobulins.
Tag/Conjugate
HRP
Immunogen
Goat anti-Human IgE (epsilon chain) (HRP) was raised in goat using purified Human IgE as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
4 degree C. After reconsitution, dilute with an equal volume of glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Prepare working dilution prior to use and then discard.

Product Notes

The IgE (Catalog #AAA539132) is a Secondary Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti Human IgE (epsilon chain) (HRP) reacts with Reacts with heavy (Sigma) chains on Human IgE. Does not react iwth light chains on all Human immunoflobulins, or non-immunoglobulin Human serum proteins. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Goat anti Human IgE (epsilon chain) (HRP) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), CL. IHC: 1:200-1:5000 ELISA/WB: 1:500-1:5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgE for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Goat anti Human IgE (epsilon chain) (HRP), Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
