RTU ELISA Kit's Advantage
The Ready-To-Use (RTU) Kits require fewer steps in setup and take less time to run. Detection Solutions are pre-diluted and total incubation time is shorter than many other ELISA Kits.
Preparation and Storage
For unopened kits: All the reagents should be kept at 4 degree C upon receipt.
For opened kits: Once the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage conditions. In addition, return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.

NCBI Description

Apoptosis, a major form of cell death, is an efficient mechanism for eliminating unwanted cells and is of central importance for development and homeostasis in metazoan animals. In mice, the death inducer-obliterator-1 gene is upregulated by apoptotic signals and encodes a cytoplasmic protein that translocates to the nucleus upon apoptotic signal activation. When overexpressed, the mouse protein induced apoptosis in cell lines growing in vitro. This gene is similar to the mouse gene and therefore is thought to be involved in apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcripts have been found for this gene, encoding multiple isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

DATF1: Putative transcription factor, weakly pro-apoptotic when overexpressed. Tumor suppressor. Ubiquitous. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Transcription factor

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 20q13.33

Product Notes

The Mouse STAT4 dido1 (Catalog #AAA4503908) is a RTU ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA4503908 RTU ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse STAT4. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Signal Transducer And Activator Of Transcription 4 (STAT4), RTU ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
