NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that binds neuropeptides of the corticotropin releasing hormone family that are major regulators of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal pathway. The encoded protein is essential for the activation of signal transduction pathways that regulate diverse physiological processes including stress, reproduction, immune response and obesity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Readthrough transcription also exists between this gene and upstream GeneID:401884 (ADP-ribosylation factor 3 pseudogene), and the readthrough transcripts encode isoforms that share similarity with the products of this gene. Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 16000. Immunohistochemistry: This product is successfully used in immunohistochemistry on mouse brain. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments in human colon, duodenum and placenta lysates gave no specific signal but low background (at antibody concentration up to 1ug/ml). Immunofluorescence: This product is successfully used in immunofluoresence on mouse brain. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRHR1 crhr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: KLYYDNEKCW FGKR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CRHR1/CRF-R, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
