Rabbit NSEP1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-YBX1 antibody
NSEP1 antibody - C-terminal region
Target Description: NSEP1 is a cell cycle stage-specific transcription factor important for cell proliferation. NSEP1 encodes a protein that correlates with P-glycoprotein expression in human breast carcinoma.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a highly conserved cold shock domain protein that has broad nucleic acid binding properties. The encoded protein functions as both a DNA and RNA binding protein and has been implicated in numerous cellular processes including regulation of transcription and translation, pre-mRNA splicing, DNA reparation and mRNA packaging. This protein is also a component of messenger ribonucleoprotein (mRNP) complexes and may have a role in microRNA processing. This protein can be secreted through non-classical pathways and functions as an extracellular mitogen. Aberrant expression of the gene is associated with cancer proliferation in numerous tissues. This gene may be a prognostic marker for poor outcome and drug resistance in certain cancers. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on multiple chromosomes. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]

The YBX1 (Catalog #AAA3202035) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NSEP1 antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Sheep, Yeast and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NSEP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the YBX1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: NMYRGYRPRF RRGPPRQRQP REDGNEEDKE NQGDETQGQQ PPQRRYRRNF. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NSEP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
