Usage Notes
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) S protein RBD protein not less than 100ug/mL, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity
Immobilized SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD protein at 1.25 ?g/mL (100?L/well) can bind Human Ace-2, the EC50 of human Ace-2 is 54 ng/mL.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Spike RBD protein product should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4 degree C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 degree C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
