Related Product Information for anti-P84 antibody
The Endophilins comprise a family of three SH3 domain-containing proteins designated Endophilin I, II and III, or alternatively known as SH3P4, SH3P8 and SH3P13, respectively. These proteins associate with amphiphysin, synaptojanin and dynamin and are implicated in presynaptic vesicle trafficking at nerve terminals. The expression patterns of the Endophilins are consistent with their cellular functions at the neuronal synapse as Endophilin I is expressed only in the brain. Both Endophilin II and Endophilin III are detected in a variety of tissues. Endophilin I is also implicated in modulating G proteincoupled receptor signaling by functioning as an adapter protein and directing beta1 adrenergic receptors to the endocytic machinery.

Product Notes

The P84 sh3gl2 (Catalog #AAA3013854) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Endophilin I (P84) Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Endophilin I can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the P84 sh3gl2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Endophilin I, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
