Related Product Information for anti-KRT14 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the keratin family, the most diverse group of intermediate filaments. This gene product, a type I keratin, is usually found as a heterotetramer with two keratin 5 molecules, a type II keratin. Together they form the cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Mutations in the genes for these keratins are associated with epidermolysis bullosa simplex. At least one pseudogene has been identified at 17p12-p11.

Product Notes

The KRT14 krt14 (Catalog #AAA28471) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cytokeratin 14 (KRT14) Rabbit mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cytokeratin 14 (KRT14) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:200-1:800 ELISA: Recommended starting concentration is 1ug/mL. Please optimize the concentration based on your specific assay requirements. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KRT14 krt14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: VGGDVNVEMD AAPGVDLSRI LNEMRDQYEK MAEKNRKDAE EWFFTKTEEL NREVATNSEL VQSGKSEISE LRRTMQNLEI ELQSQLSMKA SLENSLEETK GRYCMQLAQI QEMIGSVEEQ LAQLRCEMEQ QNQEYKILLD VKTRLEQEIA TYRRLLEGED AHLSSSQFSS GSQSSRDVTS SSRQIRTKVM DVHD. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cytokeratin 14 (KRT14), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
