Porcine
Synonyms
Chemerin; Porcine Chemerin ELISA Kit; CHE elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Porcine
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Porcine CHE and analogues was observed.
Sequence Length
373
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
31.2ng/ml-1000ng/ml.
Sensitivity
5.0ng/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated CHE concentrations in Porcine serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Porcine CHE antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add CHE and CHE antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of CHE in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

Uniprot Description

CMKLR1: Receptor for the chemoattractant adipokine chemerin/RARRES2 and for the omega-3 fatty acid derived molecule resolvin E1. Interaction with RARRES2 induces activation of intracellular signaling molecules, such as SKY, MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2), MAPK14/P38MAPK and PI3K leading to multifunctional effects, like, reduction of immune responses, enhancing of adipogenesis and angionesis. Resolvin E1 down-regulates cytokine production in macrophages by reducing the activation of MAPK1/3 (ERK1/2) and NF- kappa-B. Acts as a coreceptor for several SIV strains (SIVMAC316, SIVMAC239, SIVMACL7E-FR and SIVSM62A), as well as a primary HIV-1 strain (92UG024-2). Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, multi-pass; GPCR, family 1

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q24.1

Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; integral to membrane; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: G-protein coupled receptor activity; protein binding; chemokine receptor activity; receptor activity

Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; negative regulation of interleukin-12 production; inhibition of NF-kappaB transcription factor; positive regulation of fat cell differentiation; regulation of calcium-mediated signaling; immune response; chemotaxis; skeletal development

Product Notes

The Porcine CHE cmklr1 (Catalog #AAA028355) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA028355 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine CHE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Chemerin, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
