Rat Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) CLIA Kit | PDGFB clia kit
Rat Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) CLIA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) and analogues was observed.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

NCBI Description
may play a role in carotid artery smooth muscle cell proliferation and neointimal formation in response to balloon catheter injury [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
PDGFB: Growth factor that plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell migration, survival and chemotaxis. Potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin. Required for normal proliferation and recruitment of pericytes and vascular smooth muscle cells in the central nervous system, skin, lung, heart and placenta. Required for normal blood vessel development, and for normal development of kidney glomeruli. Plays an important role in wound healing. Signaling is modulated by the formation of heterodimers with PDGFA. A chromosomal aberration involving PDGFB is found in dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. Translocation t(17;22)(q22;q13) with PDGFB. Belongs to the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family.

Product Notes
The Rat PDGFB pdgfb (Catalog #AAA2709135) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2709135 CLIA Kit recognizes Rat PDGFB. AAA Biotech's Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDGFB pdgfb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
