Using a Nikon E800 HyperspectralMicroscope equipped with aPhotometrics HQ2 camera, far-redfluorescence emission from apoptoticJurkat cells was acquired with a Cy5 HYQ bandpass filter combination set. FLICA660-DEVD-FMK reagent optimally excitesat 660 nm and has an emission max at690 nm, making it suitable for use withred lasers on common benchtop flowcytometers and ideal for dual stainingpurposes with green fluorescent probes.
