This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD157/BST1 (rh CD157/BST1; Met 1-Lys 292; NP_004325.2).
Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored at 2 degree C- 8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -70 degree C. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

CD157 is prevalently expressed by cells of the myeloid lineage. CD157 could act as a receptor with signal transduction capability. Further, it regulates calcium homeostasis and promotes polarization in neutrophils and mediates superoxide (O2-) production in the human U937 myeloid line.
