Rabbit anti-Human Transcription Elongation Factor A1 (TCEA1) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TCEA1 antibody
Cy3-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Transcription Elongation Factor A1 (TCEA1)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
TFIIS: Necessary for efficient RNA polymerase II transcription elongation past template-encoded arresting sites. The arresting sites in DNA have the property of trapping a certain fraction of elongating RNA polymerases that pass through, resulting in locked ternary complexes. Cleavage of the nascent transcript by S-II allows the resumption of elongation from the new 3'-terminus. A chromosomal aberration involving TCEA1 may be a cause of salivary gland pleiomorphic adenomas (PA) [181030]. Pleiomorphic adenomas are the most common benign epithelial tumors of the salivary gland. Translocation t(3;8)(p21;q12) with PLAG1. Belongs to the TFS-II family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Transcription factor
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 8q11.23
Cellular Component: nucleolus; nucleoplasm; nucleus; transcription factor TFIID complex
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: RNA elongation from RNA polymerase II promoter; transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; transcription-coupled nucleotide-excision repair

Product Notes
The TCEA1 tcea1 (Catalog #AAA2073757) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cy3-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Transcription Elongation Factor A1 (TCEA1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Transcription Elongation Factor A1 (TCEA1) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (ELISA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCEA1 tcea1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transcription Elongation Factor A1 (TCEA1), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
