Preparation and Storage
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI Description

This gene is a member of a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased following stressful growth arrest conditions and treatment with DNA-damaging agents. The induction of this gene by ionizing radiation occurs in certain cell lines regardless of p53 status, and its protein response is correlated with apoptosis following ionizing radiation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

GADD34: Recruits the serine/threonine-protein phosphatase PP1 to dephosphorylate the translation initiation factor eIF-2A/EIF2S1, thereby reversing the shut-off of protein synthesis initiated by stress-inducible kinases and facilitating recovery of cells from stress. Down-regulates the TGF-beta signaling pathway by promoting dephosphorylation of TGFB1 by PP1. May promote apoptosis by inducing TP53 phosphorylation on 'Ser-15'. Belongs to the PPP1R15 family.

AAA Biotech's Protein Phosphatase 1, Regulatory Subunit 15A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPP1R15A ppp1r15a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: EDDGDW DSAEEDTAQS CTTPHTSAFL KAWVYRPGED TEEEDDSENV APVDSETVDS CQSTQHCLPV EKTKGCGEAE PPPFQVAFYL PGQKPAPPWA APKLPLRLQK RLRSFKAPAR NQDPEIPLKG RKVHFSEKVT VHFLAVWAGP AQAARRGPWE QFARDRSRFA RRIAQAEEQL GPYLTPAFRA RAWTRLRNLP LPLSSSSLPL PEPCSSTEAT PLSQDVTTPS PLPSEIPPPS LDLGGRRG. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Protein Phosphatase 1, Regulatory Subunit 15A, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
