Rabbit Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase Ib3 (PAFAH1B3) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PAFAH1B3 antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase Ib3 (PAFAH1B3)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL
Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 24 months.
Stability Test:
thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an acetylhydrolase that catalyzes the removal of an acetyl group from the glycerol backbone of platelet-activating factor. The encoded enzyme is a subunit of the platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase isoform 1B complex, which consists of the catalytic beta and gamma subunits and the regulatory alpha subunit. This complex functions in brain development. A translocation between this gene on chromosome 19 and the CDC-like kinase 2 gene on chromosome 1 has been observed, and was associated with cognitive disability, ataxia, and atrophy of the brain. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]
Uniprot Description
PAFAH1B3: Inactivates paf by removing the acetyl group at the sn-2 position. This is a catalytic subunit. Plays an important role during the development of brain. Belongs to the 'GDSL' lipolytic enzyme family. Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB beta/gamma subunits subfamily.

The Polyclonal Antibody to Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase Ib3 (PAFAH1B3) reacts with Homo sapiens (Human) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase Ib3 (PAFAH1B3) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB); Immunohistochemistry (IHC); Immunocytochemistry (ICC); Immunoprecipitation (IP). Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PAFAH1B3 pafah1b3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase Ib3 (PAFAH1B3), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
