Mouse Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4, Tnfrsf4/Ox40 ELISA Kit | Tnfrsf4/Ox40 elisa kit
Mouse Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4, Tnfrsf4/Ox40 ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse Tnfrsf4/Ox40 antibody. Tnfrsf4/Ox40 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse Tnfrsf4/Ox40 Antibody is added and binds to Tnfrsf4/Ox40 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated Tnfrsf4/Ox40 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse Tnfrsf4/Ox40. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor has been shown to activate NF-kappaB through its interaction with adaptor proteins TRAF2 and TRAF5. Knockout studies in mice suggested that this receptor promotes the expression of apoptosis inhibitors BCL2 and BCL2lL1/BCL2-XL, and thus suppresses apoptosis. The knockout studies also suggested the roles of this receptor in CD4+ T cell response, as well as in T cell-dependent B cell proliferation and differentiation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Receptor for TNFSF4/OX40L/GP34. Is a costimulatory molecule implicated in long-term T-cell immunity.

Product Notes
The Mouse Tnfrsf4/Ox40 tnfrsf4 (Catalog #AAA1601048) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1601048 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse Tnfrsf4/Ox40. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4, Tnfrsf4/Ox40, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
