Interleukin 2 (IL2) Active Protein | IL2 active protein
Active Interleukin 2 (IL2)
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Activity Data
(Interleukin-2 (IL-2), the main lymphokine produced by activated CD4 T-helper lymphocytes, is a potent T-cell growth regulator. In addition to this activity, IL-2 was found to decrease the proliferation of 3T3 fibroblasts in time- and dose-dependent manner. Thus 3T3 cells were seeded overnight at a density of 5,000 cells/well, and treated with or without various concentrations of IL2 for 48h, then 3T3 cells were observed by inverted microscope and cell viability was measured by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8). Briefly, 10uL of CCK-8 solution was added to each well of the plate, then measure the absorbance at 450nm using a microplate reader after incubating the plate for 1-4 hours at 37oC.The inhibitory effect of IL-2 on cell proliferation of 3T3 cells observed by inverted microscope was shown in Figure 1.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
IL2: Produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation, this protein is required for T-cell proliferation and other activities crucial to regulation of the immune response. Can stimulate B-cells, monocytes, lymphokine- activated killer cells, natural killer cells, and glioma cells. A chromosomal aberration involving IL2 is found in a form of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Translocation t(4;16)(q26;p13) with involves TNFRSF17. Belongs to the IL-2 family.

Product Notes
The IL2 il2 (Catalog #AAA2086063) is an Active Protein produced from 293F cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 2 (IL2) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell culture, Activity Assays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL2 il2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 2 (IL2), Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
