NCBI Description

Encodes a basic helix#Aeiloop#Aeihelix transcription factor that acts downstream of MP in root initiation. TMO7 protein moves to the hypophysis and to vascular cells, contributing to MP-dependent root formation. Promotes the correct definition of the hypophysis cell division plane.

Uniprot Description

Atypical and probable non DNA-binding bHLH transcription factor required for MONOPTEROS-dependent root initiation in embryo. Promotes the correct definition of the hypophysis cell division plane. Transcriptionally controlled by MONOPTEROS. Moves from its site of synthesis in pro-embryos cells into the hypophysis. Regulates brassinosteroid (BR) signaling by sequestering negative BR signaling components. May function as positive regulator of gibberellin signaling. May play a role in the regulation of light signaling and possibly auxin signaling.

Product Notes

The BHLH135 pre3 (Catalog #AAA1397283) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli or Yeast or Baculovirus or Mammalian Cell and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-93, Full length protein. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MSGRRSRSRQ SSGTSRISED QINDLIIKLQ QLLPELRDSR RSDKVSAARV LQDTCNYIRN LHREVDDLSE RLSELLANSD TAQAALIRSL LTQ. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Transcription factor bHLH135 (BHLH135), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
