Preparation
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human LSM3 (rh LSM3). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored at 2-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Preservative-Free. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Related Product Information for anti-LSM3 antibody
LSM3 (LSM3 Homolog, U6 Small Nuclear RNA And MRNA Degradation Associated) is a Protein Coding gene. LSM3 is a member of the snRNP Sm proteins family. It plays role in pre-mRNA splicing as a component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP complex that is involved in spliceosome assembly, and as a component of the pre-catalytic spliceosome (spliceosome B complex). Sm-like proteins can be detected in a variety of organisms. They all have the Sm sequence motif, which consists of 2 regions separated by a linker of variable length that folds as a loop. The Sm-like proteins are thought to form a stable heteromer present in tri-snRNP particles, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing. Diseases associated with LSM3 include Spondylolysis.

NCBI Description

Sm-like proteins were identified in a variety of organisms based on sequence homology with the Sm protein family (see SNRPD2; MIM 601061). Sm-like proteins contain the Sm sequence motif, which consists of 2 regions separated by a linker of variable length that folds as a loop. The Sm-like proteins are thought to form a stable heteromer present in tri-snRNP particles, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing.[supplied by OMIM, Apr 2004]

Product Notes

The LSM3 lsm3 (Catalog #AAA8107392) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-LSM3 Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LSM3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LSM3 lsm3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LSM3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
