Preparation and Storage
Store lyophilized protein at -20 degree C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4 degree C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4 degree C.
Related Product Information for TPPP recombinant protein
Description: TPPP Human Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 229 amino acids including a 10 a.a N-terminal His tag. The total molecular mass is 24.9kDa (calculated).

Introduction: Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein (TPPP) probably plays a part in the polymerization of tubulin into microtubules, as well as in microtubule bundling and the stabilization of existing microtubules, thus maintaining the integrity of the microtubule network. TPPP may also have a role in mitotic spindle assembly and nuclear envelope breakdown. TPPP/p235 level in cerebrospinal fluid is considerably higher in multiple sclerosis patients.

The amino acid sequence is listed below: MKHHHHH HASMAD KAKPAKA ANRTPPKSPG DPSKDRAAKR LSLESEGAGE GAAASPELSA LEEAFRRFAV HGDARATGRE MHGKNWSKLC KDCQVIDGRN VTVTDVDIVF SKIKGKSCRT ITFEQFQEAL EELAKKRFKD KSSEEAVREV HRLIEGKAPI ISGVTKAISS PTVSRLTDTT KFTGSHKERF DPSGKGKGKA GRVDLVDESG YVSGYKHAGT YDQKVQGGK. . It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
